Rosalie June Slaterslater rosalie

Rosalie Slater served for a number of years as an educator in the public schools of California. In the early 1960's, while working on her doctoral program, she traveled to Russia to study their educational system. Dissatisfied with what was occurring in American education, God providentially introduced her to Verna Hall, who was offering a study group on the Constitution. This class revolutionized Miss Slater's thinking and she recognized that there must be a restoration of American education to its origin of Biblical reasoning. From this idea, Miss Slater produced a study guide for Miss Hall's publication, The Christian History of the Constitution. This guide would eventually be expanded and published as Teaching and Learning America's Christian History: The Principle Approach. Whether speaking to one or to many, Miss Slater's inspirational teaching encouraged many American Christian educators to restore the Principle Approach in their home or classroom. In February, 2006, Rosalie Slater went home to be with her Lord and Savior. However, her teaching through publications and recordings continue to inspire.
