Glen Jaspers Bio
Dr. Glen Jaspers
Evangelist
Dr. Glen A. Jaspers was born in Marshalltown, Iowa, and grew up on a nearby farm. When 19 years of age, he accepted Christ as Saviour. After Bible college, he entered the Baptist ministry and served as pastor of two churches in Colorado before founding Fellowship Baptist Church in Marshalltown in 1963. In 1973, he led the church in establishing Central Iowa Christian Academy. As something of a pioneer in Christian education in Iowa, he implemented the principle approach to education which made an impact on the lives of many young people. Over 100 of the graduates have gone on to college and are serving the Lord in Christian schools and churches. Serving as one of the founders of the Pilgrim Institute, Dr. Jaspers has taught this concept as he traveled across America. He co-authored the book, Restoring America's Heritage of Pastoral Leadership. Dr. and Mrs. Jaspers now work full time in local church revival and evangelistic ministries. They have five children, all of whom are married and active in the Lord's work.
