Treasure America’s Liberty

In every generation, liberty must be

  • Treasured
  • Honored
  • Protected
  • Practiced with purpose

Liberty is never preserved by accident.

It grows strongest when families commit themselves to truth, faith, wisdom, and character — values that begin not in government buildings or classrooms, but in the home.

At Pilgrim Institute, we believe education plays a vital role in shaping future generations who understand both the blessings and responsibilities of liberty.

  • True liberty is more than independence or personal choice.
  • It is the opportunity to live conscientiously, honorably, grounded in truth.

America’s history is filled with courageous individuals who sacrificed deeply, some even giving their lives, to carve out the path of liberty – spiritual, religious, and political. From the Pilgrims seeking religious liberty to generations of leaders who stood firm in establishing a form of government to protect liberty, their stories remind us that liberty requires conviction and perseverance.

As families, we have a unique opportunity to pass these principles to our children in meaningful and lasting ways:

Liberty flourishes where faith is strengthened, families are united, and truth is valued. When our youth learn to think from a proper foundation, value others, govern themselves, and lead with courage, they are prepared for their unique calling in life – both now and in the future.

In today’s world, it is more important than ever to raise young people who appreciate their God-given liberty and are prepared to steward liberty wisely. Our homes, churches, and classrooms should inspire gratitude, responsibility, and a deep understanding of the foundations upon which liberty stands.

At Pilgrim Institute, we are honored to walk alongside families who are committed to nurturing the hearts of their children to walk in truth. Together, we can equip the next generation to live with wisdom, lead with character, and preserve the blessings of liberty for years to come.

May we continue to teach our children that freedom is never granted by civil government — it is a God-given gift, cultivated through faith, truth, courage, and intentional living.
