Self Government is explained in I John 3:24: \u201cHe that keepeth his commandments DWELLETH IN HIM, and HE IN HIM. And hereby we know that HE ABIDETH IN US, by the Spirit which He hath given us.\u201d The internal gives rise to the external.\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

George Washington\u2019s and America\u2019s FIRST THANKSGIVING PROCLAMATION requested Americans to pray God\u2026 1) \u201cto pardon our national sins; 2) \u201cto render our national government a blessing to all the people (HOW?) by being a government of wise (laws), just and constitutional laws, discreetly and faithfully executed and obeyed, and 3) \u201cto promote the knowledge and practice of true religion (which was Biblical Christianity at that time<\/em>) and virtue (or the righteousness of Christ<\/em>)\u2026\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n
