S. Constitution?<\/h3>\n<p>The United States Constitution describes <em>itself <\/em>as \u201c<strong>the supreme Law of the Land<\/strong>\u201d (Art. 6, Sec. 2) \u2013 \u201c<strong>supreme<\/strong>\u201d or \u201c<strong>highest in authority; holding the highest place in government<\/strong>\u201d [Webster 1828 Dictionary].\u00a0 Judges in every state, every national congressman, members of every state legislature and all national and state executives \u201cshall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>SPIRIT AND<\/strong><strong> LETTER OF THE <\/strong><strong>CONSTITUTION<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>of the UNITED STATES of AMERICA<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">In the <strong>Declaration of Independence<\/strong>, the Framers declared the reason, foundation and the purpose for the <strong>Constitution of the United States of America<\/strong>.\u00a0 Both documents are considered part of the \u201cORGANIC LAW\u201d of our nation. <strong>Organic Law <\/strong>refers to \u201cthat law or <em>system of principles<\/em> which defines and establishes the organization of its government. [Black\u2019s Law Dictionary] <em>The Preface to the United States Code Annotated <\/em>treats the Declaration as part of the organic law of the government of the United States.\u00a0 The Code states that \u201cthis code is the <em>official restatement<\/em> in convenient form of the GENERAL AND PERMANENT LAWS of the United States.\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The last clause of the U.S. Constitution\u2014the Subscription Clause\u2014 attests to the names of WHO affirmed that this Constitution is the genuine document and WHEN it was agreed to \u2014 \u201c<em>in the year of our Lord (Jesus Christ) (1787) <\/em><strong>and of the independence of the (U.S.A) the twelf<\/strong><strong>th (year) \u201d, thereby dating our form of government from the 12th year of the\u00a0Declaration of Independence rather than the Constitution.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Declaration of Independence declares a view of God, man and government which expresses the Spiritual foundation of our Christian form of government<\/strong>\u2014 a constitutional, federal republic \u2014which form is the letter, framework and structure of American national government.\u00a0 The Declaration declares <strong>four views of God <\/strong>[i.e., Laws of \u2026 Nature\u2019s God; Creator; Judge of the World; and divine Providence]; <strong>three views of government <\/strong>[Governments&#8230;secure\u2026 (God-given) rights (to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness); derive their just powers from the consent of the governed; and whenever any government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government]; and <strong>two views of man <\/strong>[created equal; and endowed by their Creator with unalienable rights].<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/pilgriminstitute.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/ACHI-Eagle.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-1748\" src=\"https:\/\/pilgriminstitute.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/ACHI-Eagle-209x300.png\" alt=\"ACHI Eagle\" width=\"81\" height=\"116\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pilgriminstitute.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/ACHI-Eagle-209x300.png 209w, https:\/\/pilgriminstitute.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/ACHI-Eagle-713x1024.png 713w, https:\/\/pilgriminstitute.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/ACHI-Eagle.png 865w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 81px) 100vw, 81px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Originally published in <em>Eagle\u2019s Aerie, <\/em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.achipa.com\/\">American Christian History Institute<\/a>,<br \/>\nSeptember 2007.
