How well are you acquainted with the principles and blessings which the Constitution provides to the citizens of the United States? In six of the original state constitutions, reference was made to the principles of liberty.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua,palatino; font-size: medium;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua,palatino; font-size: medium;\"><strong><em>Constitution of Virginia, Bill of Rights, June 12, 1776. <\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua,palatino; font-size: medium;\"><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua,palatino; font-size: medium;\">&#8221; That no free government, or the blessings of liberty, can be preserved to any people, but by a firm adherence to justice, moderation, temperance, frugality, and virtue, and by frequent recurrence to fundamental principles.&#8221;<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua,palatino; font-size: medium;\"><em><strong>Constitution of Pennsylvania, A Declaration of the Rights of the Inhabitants of the Commonwealth, <\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua,palatino; font-size: medium;\"><em><strong>or State of Pennsylvania, August 16, 1776.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua,palatino; font-size: medium;\"><em><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua,palatino; font-size: medium;\">&#8220;That a frequent recurrence to fundamental principles, and a firm adherence to justice moderation, temperance, industry, and frugality are absolutely necessary to preserve the blessings of liberty, and keep government free.
